Although a short letter of thanks will fall short of expressing our gratitude, we thought we’d still give it a try! We, and the personnel of the Special Operations Joint Task Force – Afghanistan, truly appreciate your support. Receiving gifts, packages and letters from people who support us always makes deployment a little easier, draws home a little closer, and helps time move a little faster.
Our personnel are here in Afghanistan training and advising the Afghans. The missions a key piece of the puzzle in building a secure, safe and free Afghanistan. As the Unit Ministry Team, we travel around to support them at their various bases and locations. Thanks to people like you, we are able to send them gifts of everything from coffee, to toiletries, to cigars, to guitars for chapels!
As you can tell from the pictures, we are a diverse organization with members from all US branches of service, as well as many other NATO and Coalition countries. They comprise a stay flow of people coming through our chapel each day for coffee/espresso/cappuccino from the legendary chapel coffee machine and to get what they might need from the stock of snacks and toiletry items available. Thanks once more for supporting this organization – it is greatly appreciated.
